Results of 2012 HKALE
With the concerted effort and contribution from our school, our girls have achieved good results in the HKAL examination this year. It's great that more than 91% of our girls attending the examination have received grade 'C' or above in the 'Use of English', which is way above the overall percentage for HK day school first attempters (with only 15.5% achieving such grades). Our St. Marians' performance in other subjects are also very good, e.g. 75.3% of them have received grade 'C' or above in the 'Chinese Language & Culture' (only around 26.4% in average for HK day school first attempters), and around 75% of them securing grade 'C' or above in the ‘Computer Applications' as compared to around 17% in average.
We would like to express our 'big thanks' to Catherine and all teachers involved for their continuous guidance and caring throughout the past years, without which our girls would not have made such achievements.
