Our Music teacher, Mrs. Anita Mak , who was awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence in 2004, was invited to join an educational visiting tour to Beijing on 28th September to 2nd October, 2006. During the trip, Mrs. Mak, together with more than 400 teachers and principals from Hong Kong and Macau, visited secondary schools in Beijing, attended seminars on the Educational development in China and met with national leaders. She found the tour an eye-opening experience. The photos give you an idea of the happy occasion, and in particular, the photo she took at Tianmian Square together with our alumna, Mrs. Fanny Law, the Permanent Secretary for Education and Manpower, after the flag raising ceremony on National Day, 2006 is most memorable for those of us who haven't as yet visited our Capital at Beijing.
