What's News - Results of 2010 HKALE 2010-07-5

Dear Parents,

    With the concerted effort and contribution from our school, our girls have achieved good results in the HKAL examination this year.  It’s great that more than 90% of our girls attending the examination have received grade 'C' or above in the 'Use of English', which is way above the overall percentage for HK day school first attempters (with only less than 16% achieving such grades). Our St. Marians' performance in other subjects are also very good, e.g., 62% of them  have received grade 'C' or above in the 'Chinese Language and Culture' (only around 27% in average, i.e., for HK
day school first attempters),  and around 82% of them securing grade 'C' or above in the 'Pure Mathematics' as compared to around 27% in average.

    We would like to express our 'big thanks' to Catherine and all teachers involved for their continuous guidance and caring throughout the past years, without which our girls would not have made such achievements.
